Introduction to Hand and Thumb Gestures
- Scientists have noted that there are some nerve connections between the hands and brain than between any other part of the body.
- Many people assume that, when Italians talk they are being friendly or intimate because they continually touch each other.
- persons summarizes a discussion giving both points, they usually hold one hand palm up and articulate each point and then give the opposite points on the other hand.
- Right - Handed people reserve their favored point of view for their right hand and Left - Handers favor their left.
- Using hand gestures grabs attention, increases the impact of communication and helps individual retain more of the information they are hearing.
Most Common Hand Gestures..
- Rubbing the palms together.
- Thumb and finger rub.
- Hands clenched together.
- The steeple.
- The face platter.
- Holding hands behind the back.
